The GrebenzenHöhen are not the Ötztal – and that’s a good thing! Here, it’s not about higher, faster, further. It’s about experiencing the mountains with calm and enjoyment. The panoramic cable car takes you comfortably up to 1,654 m, and the rest is just as easy: hop off the lift, lace up your hiking boots, and off you go! The views of the Tauern and Karawanken are pure natural highlights.

Whether you’re strolling leisurely across alpine meadows or taking on the three Grebenzen summits – hiking on the GrebenzenHöhen feels like a mini vacation. And since no one’s gasping for air up here, you can truly soak in the freedom and fresh mountain air.

Summit joy from the Grebenzenhaus

Ride the panoramic cable car to the mountain station, then hike up to the summit of GrebenzenHöhe and return to the mountain station.

The Three GrebenzenHöhen

Take the panoramic cable car to the mountain station, then hike up to the summit of GrebenzenHöhe, continue to the Second Grebenzenhöhe, then to the Third Grebenzenhöhe, and return via the Scharfes Eck – an impressive high-altitude trail with spectacular natural scenery!

Still have some energy left for an extra challenge? Then head to the Wildes Loch and look 32 meters down into the abyss. Caution: the hole is unsecured!

Great Grebenzen Loop

For the truly ambitious: skip the gondola ride and reach the summit of GrebenzenHöhe entirely under your own steam – via the Pirkbauer Route and the steep Pfaffentritt trail. To wrap up your hike, enjoy a relaxing ride down with the panoramic cable car and take in the views all the way to the valley.

Want to head up the mountain with the whole family in tow?

Great! Children up to 2 years ride the panoramic cable car for free! At the top, exciting experiences await like Grebi’s Puzzle Trail, the Kraxlland with marble run, and the photo points.

The "Good for the Knees" Tour

Do your knees ache when going downhill? Then take a leisurely uphill hike along the toboggan track, through the shady forest, and past Gasthof Schönanger all the way to the Grebenzenhaus. After a refreshing rest, the panoramic cable car takes you comfortably back down to the valley, where you can enjoy the breathtaking view.
